Our Story
Welcome to Tiny Taikun! My name is Subodh, I am an part-time investor and a full fan of Warren Buffettt and Charlie Munger.
Through the learning journey I am on, I discover their timeless principles, I started sticking these on my bathroom mirror as daily reminders. Because great ideas need to be recited, remembered and re-visited.
Over time, this passion turned into an idea: why not create everyday merchandise to remember these principles? And that’s how Tiny Taikun was born.
One of the most exciting aspect was bringing to life a 3D figurine of Warren Buffett. The name ‘Tiny Taikun’ came naturally from the figurine: it’s small, but captures the spirit of the great tycoon.
Fun fact: the word ‘tycoon’ comes from the Japanese ‘Taikun,’ which means ‘great lord’ or ‘great prince.’
Over time, my ambition is for Tiny Taikun to be a repository of timeless wisdom (through blogs), a source for learning (e-learning) and a fun store for cool and unique merchandise.
But Tiny Taikun is more than just a a commercial endeavour—I’m committed to giving back by pledging 25% of profits to charities focused on education. It’s our tiny way of investing in the next generation.
